We live in a world of specialization. For me, it was clear early on: This is not my path. I want to maintain diverse agriculture in a closed farm cycle — arable farming, livestock breeding, and viticulture belong together and support each other.
Since 2008, Waldviertler Blondvieh in suckler cow husbandry graze freely on our pastures. In the old apricot orchard, the robust animals naturally reduce vegetation; their manure becomes the best fertilizer and the basis of our biodynamic preparations.
This way, we give something living back to the soil — and create the foundation for wines with true character.
