12.0 vol.% Acidity: 7.1 mg/L Residual Sugar: 15.6 mg/L ORIGIN: As early as 1975, the grandfather first planted Riesling vines in the meter-thick loess of the Riede Tobel. And for good reason. The Tobel, an old local name for a valley incision, is exposed to the wind and relatively high on a gently sloping hillside on the Wagram. Cold air flows from the north into the vineyards, which occasionally presents us with frost problems. In years with normal conditions, it allows for a long growing season and brings the necessary freshness to produce cool, precise, and puristic Rieslings.
