The name of the Brunnberg vineyard says it all. This vineyard, located southeast of the village Kirchberg, is based on a multitude of springs, which were not only the foundation for the settlement of the region, but also a reason for the establishment of the first vineyards. These have existed on Brunnberg for approximately as long as the Oberstockstall winery. Exposed to the south, the vines capture sun throughout the day, whereby the accumulated heat is buffered by constantly incoming winds.
