TIME FOR A BREAK

Stay overnight. Enjoy the tranquility of the estate, the good food, and the excellent wine, and let yourself be guided by the rhythm of nature. Our spacious rooms play with the contrast. They blend modern simplicity with historic structures to create a surprisingly invigorating experience. You will see!

Straightforward, honest forms, light-filled freedom combined with baroque cheerfulness and characterful individual pieces – these are our rooms. Each space is its own world, offering consistently surprising insights and outlooks.

BREAKFAST AT THE ESTATE

from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM

The start of the day with us involves a loving composition of specialties. Organic wood-fired bread, homemade braided bread (Striezel), and jams, ham specialties from Sonnberg and Schober, and selected cheese varieties. With seasonal fruits and vegetables from our garden, energy for the day is served on the plate.

We serve breakfast, and in good weather, it is enjoyed under the walnut tree. The over 250-year-old "Jogltisch" in the breakfast room, which has been in the family for generations, is a charming focal point in an otherwise bright and minimalist space.

The furnishings tell a story. You can feel it.

ARTFULLY FURNISHED

Our estate is our center of life. The old house comes with a lot of responsibility. The rooms longed for new life. Therefore, we decided to add a new chapter to the long history with the guest rooms!

In the redesign, we were accompanied by Peter Poysdorfer. He made many unusual and bold decisions: a free, open space concept instead of large boxes, open bathrooms, freestanding beds. "Poysi" left his mark everywhere and spent countless hours on-site. Without him, the project would not have been possible. A beautiful collaboration!

The furniture is unique pieces, lovingly curated. They stand alone and tell stories. The pictures on the wall also have stories! They are by Birgit Salomon's sister: Marion Reisinger. With a penchant for gray, the paintings of the academic painter provoke reflection, they have something special.

STAY A LITTLE LONGER
AN ALL-AROUND EXPERIENCE

IDLENESS
ON THE WAGRAM

The gentle hills of Wagram invite the soul to unwind. Paths filled with sky, fragrant forests, warm wine terraces, cool cellars. During leisurely walks. In 1980, our family discovered the complete inventory of an alchemist's laboratory from the 16th century directly in the old chapel.

CULTURE
UP CLOSE

Whether it's the melodious backdrop at the romantic Grafenegg or the historical town of Krems with its beautiful old town and diverse range of museums – our region invites you to a cultural exploration! The Waldviertel is just a stone's throw away. There, local businesses open their doors for visits: Sonnentor Tea, GEA Shoes, Schremser Beer, the Whiskey Experience World. The Lipizzaner Center Heldenberg is also worth a trip!

ATHLETIC

ON THE GO

Experience Wagram and its sensual power spots at their finest while cycling or hiking. Highly recommended is the well-signposted Wagram Trail, which takes you from the cool floodplain and field level across the Wagram, through its typical loess terraces, and vineyards.
